Ph.D. Dan Draghia
Dan Drăghia holds a PhD from the Faculty of Political Science – University of Bucharest with a thesis that deals with the workers’ unrest in Romania as a result of the First World War. He worked as a researcher within The Institute for the Investigation of the Communist Crimes and the Memory of the Romanian Exile, where his main areas of expertise were minorities and exile, as well as the history of the communist movement in Romania. He is also an associate lecturer at the Faculty of Political Science – University of Bucharest. His research within the project deals with the way in which artists portrayed the past of the workers’ movement and of the Communist Party.
